Keeping Wellesley Healthy

Wellesley is partnering with theBroad Institute of MIT and Harvardto provide asymptomatic testing for all students on campus and designated members of our faculty and staff. The graphs belowshow Spring 2021 data from February 1, 2021 to August 21, 2021. Testing and results data from the period August 17, 2020 to January 31, 2021 can be viewed at the archivedfall dashboard.

Definitions

Total asymptomatic test results in past 7 testing days
Moving sum of tests results from the asymptomatic testing program on campus in the past seven testing days. Reported numbers are based on results received as of midnight the day before the dashboard is posted for test samples collected two days before the dashboard is posted. Weekly totals in graphs are based on totals for calendar weeks noted.

Positive cases in past 7 testing days
Moving sum of positive cases among on-campus Wellesley students, faculty and staff in past seven testing days, including both asymptomatic and symptomatic results. Reported numbers are based on results received as of midnight the day before the dashboard is posted for test samples collected two days before the dashboard is posted. Positive test results may include false positives. They may also include cases in which an individual was positive within the last 90 days and recovered, though can still test positive. A day-to-day reduction in these numbers may reflect the confirmation of a false positive, at which point the false positive is removed from the tot显示在仪表板。每周总数在图are based on totals for calendar weeks noted.

Invalid
Invalid results include inconclusive test results or results that could otherwise not be reported due to other issues. Individuals with invalid results will be retested the following day.

Testing frequency
All students in residential housing participate in testing twice each week. Designated faculty and staff who have significant and regular contact with residential students will participate in weekly testing.
