Elisabeth Luce Moore'24在亚洲实习

The Elisabeth Luce Moore ‘24 Summer Internships in Asia program aims to prepare students for lives and careers in a globalized world through cultural immersion and meaningful professional opportunities. The program, which has sponsored internships in China, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, and South Korea, was established in 1999 with a grant from the Henry Luce Foundation and builds on ties between Wellesley College and Asia that date from the late 19th century.

Because of the continuing worldwide effects of the Covid pandemic and other factors, the program has been redesigned for Summer 2022.由于在东亚各国的旅行和/或检疫限制,今年夏天的救影计划将仅在韩国提供基于人的机会。

Applicants to the Luce Program will apply for funding. Selected students will work closely with a study abroad partner organization and Wellesley Career Education to find an internship placement in South Korea that aligns with the student’s professional interests. Please note that labor regulations and availability of opportunities in the host country may restrict opportunities in certain fields; prospective interns thus are encouraged to approach their internship placement with an open mind.申请该计划的熟练均不需要申请该计划,但语言熟练熟练的学生可能有更多的实习期权。

符合条件的班级:Sophomores and Juniors

Funding:Students will receive a stipend of $1,500 to cover their meals, transportation, entertainment and other expenses. Housing, visas and airfare to/from South Korea is covered by the Luce Program.

Internship Commitment:实习将是全职和8-10周的长度。学生应注意,如果在进入韩国的检疫仍然需要检疫,他们将在提供的住宿中的检疫中实际上开始实习。

报名截止日期:Monday, November 1, 2021
